Our Charities

We have (obviously) an enormous amount of fun as Steelers fans, but a lot of what we do goes to various charities in the Greater Rochester Area.  Steeler Fans in Rochester have donated over $50,000 to 6 charities in the past 25 years.

Genesee Region Special Olympics:

  • 2010 – $4400
  • 2014 – $6000
  • RocCity Steelers members volunteered  at the Special Olympics Upstate Fall Classic  Saturday September 27, Thornell Farm Park, Pittsford!   Photos

Golisano Children’s Hospital & CURE (Childhood Cancer Association):

Honor Flight Rochester and NY Warrior Alliance:

  • 2015 – $4,000 NY Warrior Alliance
  • 2016: $500 Honor Flight Rochester

Each fall, the fan club members participate in a canned goods collection for Foodlink of New York.

Additional Donations:

  • 2014-2015:  $250 Polar Plunge, $125 Honor Flight and $125 fundraiser for family
  • 2016:  $200 Jeremy Daum fight against Cancer
